Today I more knowingly spent a ton of time in CK3. Game is slowly progressing, though needing to deal with claims means that it's much slower. My army is at a size where having it raised means I'm bleeding money, so I have to keep constantly getting money. And the main source of that is the pope, but I also need to wage war with the pope at some point, and both of these cost faith. So that's kind of a mess. I have Sardinia now though. Succession wasn't that much of a pain (the second time around, the first time around I had to load a save becasue I was stuck in a war for literal years thanks to an alliance), besides the fact that I lost almost all my damn titles. I also had a weird situation where my player heir (I should note that at this point, he's like, 2) inhereted a title I wanted to have personally, so I revoked it from him. But instead of him returning to my court, he just became unlanded and I had to reinvite him manually. This wasn't an issue, I noticed it before unpausing, but it was still weird.
I've also started to read The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm enjoying it so far but I'm literally 2 chapters in (and the chapters so far are pretty short) so I don't exactly have much to say atm.
